About SSL CSR Generation

A Certificate Signing Request (CSR) is a block of encoded text that contains information about your organization and the domain name you want to secure with an SSL certificate. When you generate a CSR, a private key is created alongside it.

How to Use This SSL CSR Generator:

  1. Fill in all required fields with accurate information about your organization
  2. Select your preferred SSL key size (2048, 3072, or 4096 bits)
  3. Click "Generate SSL CSR & Private Key" button
  4. Copy and save both the CSR and Private Key securely
  5. Submit the CSR to your Certificate Authority to obtain your SSL certificate

SSL CSR Best Practices:

  • Always keep your private key secure and never share it
  • Use at least 2048-bit key size for SSL certificates
  • Verify all information in your CSR before submitting to CA
  • Store your private key in a secure, backed-up location
  • Generate a new CSR and private key for each SSL certificate
